Ports, enclosures or subs should not extend past the trunk opening to where it would prevent the back rest portion of the rear seat(s) from being placed in the factory position. Same follows for rear deck if the purpose is to increase SPL. The top portion of the rear seat must be able to be positioned in the factory position without moving equipment.
2.Ports, enclosures or subs should not extend outside of the cargo area.
3. Interior modifications are allowed in the cargo area. D.O.T Approved Windshield.
Back Seat/Truck/SUV:

Power Master:
1. This is an efficiency class and will be based on DB/watt.
2. To determine a competitor score we will take the decibels and divide by the number of watts used to produce that score.
3. Competitors must disconnect/disable any non-sub-stage audio equipment to include but not limited to high and mid stage speakers/amps.
4. Head-to-head runs can preselect any wattage limit as long as both competitors agree. Overshooting on power is an automatic loss.
5. Competitors must hold score a minimum of 5 seconds to ensure probe has time to respond to wattage changes. Judge should not hear sound increase at end of run.
Thee J Williams Class

2. Sine waves are encouraged.
3. Mic can be placed in the kick or anywhere on the windshield (competitors’ choice)
4. Competitor can do whatever with doors and windows
Sandbag 15:

3. Mic can be placed in the kick or anywhere on the windshield (competitors’ choice)
4. Competitor can do whatever with doors and windows
Give -Take:
1. This is a 45 second musical average.
2. Base target 40hz. (target can be changed at random for an additional challenge or for grudges) however the target must be set by the judge and advertised at least a week prior to the show.
Also, to change the target there must be at least 3 competitor requests on the event page of the upcoming show.
3. Competitor will be given ½ db for every frequency below the target and will lose ½ db for every frequency played above the target.
4. Example1: Target is 40 hz Competitor plays 45 second music run @ 34 hz and finishes at 153 db. That competitor will gain 3 bonus points to their score for a final score of 156 dbs. Example 2: Target is 40 hz Competitor plays 45 second music run at 48 hz and finishes at 157db. That competitor would lose 4 points for a final score of 153 dbs
5. The score will be adjusted based off the ending frequency shown on the term-lab
6. Mic can be placed in the kick or anywhere on the windshield (competitors’ choice)
7. Competitor can do whatever with doors and windows.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Metering:
1.Clamped classed will be sealed with meter anywhere on the windshield.
2. Unlimited, Musical and Power Master classes with the exception of Sandbag 15, the mic can be placed anywhere on glass or in the kick and doors and/or windows can be opened or closed.
3. When running clamped classes sub-stage speaker wires must be of a decent gauge (14 minimum) and easy to access.
4. Judges are only required to ensure that the clamping mechanisms are connected and working correctly; after the second attempt and a clamp error is again received you will be given a manual score of 120 decibels. Judges are expected to do whatever troubleshooting test that are needed to ensure the issue is not with the term-lab equipment.
5. Burp runs will be set to a 30 second peak hold, competitors may use any commercially available song or test tone.
6. Clamp classes aren’t divided into categories, it’s one big mess pot.
Class Limits:
1. Competitors are allowed to run up to 6 classes per event by picking from the following:
· 2 clamped class based off the classing rules for clamped.
· 1 unlimited class per event. This keeps things fair…….
· 1 Power Master class
· 2 music classes -Thee J Williams Class, Sandbag 15, 1 Full send 45 ,Give-Take
2. Maximum of 2 clamp classes per show can be picked by the competitor. Competitors can down pick but cannot pick over one class higher than your rated.
Ex. John runs two 10k amps, he can pick any clamped class that ranges below, at or one above his rated power as most amps are under-rated so anything below, at or one over would be in John’s reach.
Point Accumulation:
Individual: 1st place 2 points per class ran, 2nd place 1.5 points per class, 3rd place 1.25 points per class, 4th place and lower 1 point per class. Multiplied by the point value of the show.
Team: Teams will accumulate points based off of team members participation at shows throughout the season. 1 point per class per team member at each show. Points will be assigned to the team you sign up with. If a competitor changes teams during the season points already accumulated will not transfer to the new team however any future points will.
Membership/Money pot information.
1. Each state will accumulate a money pot which will be equal to 20% of all entry fees taken up in that state for the season.
2. Competitors will need to choose what state/states pot they want their points to count towards. At the end of the season, the pot will be split 60/20% between the 1st and 2nd highest points champions for that state. The remaining 20% will go to the team with the most points in the state. In the event the top 2 competitors are tied the pot will be split 40/40. The remaining 20% will go to the team with the most points in the state. In the event of a 3 or more-way tie, the two that obtained all of their points first wins.
3. States and pots are separate so you can only earn points towards a particular pot by participating in shows in that state. If you are a competitor that chooses to compete in multiple states your points will remain separated by state.
4. Memberships will cost $25.00 per competitor per state. Competitors will be provided with a membership card at the time they pay for their membership(s).
5. Memberships will be tied to the competitor. With the exception of First-Timers a competitor can use multiple vehicles however the 6 classes cap will remain in place. {Example. Amy has 3 vehicles she uses to compete with. A trunk, no wall and another trunk, she can alternate those builds at shows and those points will count towards her totals] Competitor are not allowed to use someone else’s vehicle unless they are making a run(s) for that person.
6. Runs will be $20 each keeping in mind that 20% of that amount will go towards the pot for that state.
